The Falcons can just never seem to get out of their own way. Following a draft that has much of the fan base excited for the future, the conversation has already switched to controversy, as the team confirmed it was indeed defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich’s son behind the viral Shedeur Sanders prank phone call during the draft.

Jax Ulbrich also sent out an apology message via his Instagram.

The NFL has said they would investigate the matter. It’s an unprecedented situation, so it’s difficult to tell whether the team will be punished, but regardless, it’s another incident where the Falcons are left standing with pie on their face.
