The Browns came away with two quarterbacks in Dillion Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders, who join Kenny Pickett and Joe Flacco in Cleveland’s quarterback room. The Steelers drafted Will Howard in the sixth round, and Mason Rudolph is still under contract, but Pittsburgh expects to sign Aaron Rodgers.
The Vikings traded for Sam Howell, who has starting experience, but more than likely, Minnesota will hand the reins over to J.J. McCarthy. The only other potential landing spot is New Orleans, and that all depends on how the situation with Derek Carr plays out. Even then, the Saints have Spencer Rattler, Jake Haener, and Tyler Shough under contract.
The Falcons’ hopes of a Kirk Cousins trade took a massive hit over the weekend, but Atlanta’s GM Terry Fontenot hasn’t budged on his stance regarding the veteran quarterback.
“We just have to be patient there,” Fontenot told Adam Schein. “We’re always open, not just talking about Kirk, but really anybody on our roster.”
“If something comes to us, with Kirk or any other player that makes sense and it’s going to help this team, then we’re going to be aggressive and we’re going to do it.”

Fontenot added that he’s already been in touch with “six or seven” general managers following the NFL Draft regarding rosters, not specifically Kirk Cousins.
The Falcons would love to get rid of Kirk Cousins, but unless Aaron Rodgers retires or an injury arises to another team’s starting quarterback, it looks like he’ll be on the roster when the 2025 season rolls around.
