Another Georgia Bulldogs player has entered the transfer portal. This time, it’s the brother of Dawgs legend Stetson Bennett, Luke Bennett. The walk-on wideout will be leaving Athens, according to Dawgs247.

The younger brother of back-to-back National Champion Stetson Bennett just finished his redshirt junior season and enters the portal with two years of eligibility. The Blachear native only saw time in two games during his career.

Typically, this kind of move wouldn’t be notable, but there’s a case in the House surrounding walk-ons. The pending NCAA vs. House ruling would only allow 105 roster spots, including walk-ons.

Stetson Bennett, infamously, was a walk-on, and it could soon become an obsolete aspect of college football. It wouldn’t be an improvement for the sport.
