The NL East was expected to be one of the most competitive divisions in baseball prior to the season, but so far, it’s been the Braves and everyone else. Atlanta has jumped out to a 6.5-game lead in the division, and it’s actually the Marlins who sit in second-place, just ahead of the Mets and Phillies, who have underperformed to start the season.
