Ahead of Saturday’s contest with the Rockies, the Atlanta Braves made a minor roster move, recalling Carlos Carrasco and optioning Anthony Molina to Gwinnett.
The #Braves today selected RHP Carlos Carrasco to the major league roster after optioning RHP Anthony Molina to Triple-A Gwinnett following last night’s game.

It was a short stint with the major-league club for Molina, who was called up just yesterday. However, he did play a major role in the Braves comeback win, tossing two scoreless innings while allowing just one baserunner.
That kind of performance will all but guarantee him another opportunity later in the season. This move is strictly about giving the Braves another fresh arm in the bullpen after a wild game on Friday, which is typically the norm at Coors Field.
