Despite finishing below .500 again last year and Vegas setting their win total at 7.5, the Falcons will be on the primetime stage four times this upcoming season, according to Zach Klein of WSB.
The Falcons are expected to play two games on Monday Night Football against the Bills and Rams at Mercedes Benz Stadium, and twice on Sunday Night Football against the Vikings and 49ers on the road.
NFL seems to believe in the Atlanta Falcons this year.

The Falcons had four primetime games last season, going 3-1 in those contests. They beat the Eagles on the road, lost to the Chiefs at home, topped the Buccaneers in front of the home crowd, and won Kirk Cousins’ last game in Las Vegas.
They ended the season with five primetime games, though. When the Falcons turned to Michael Penix Jr. after the Week 15 MNF win over the Raiders, they had three games left against the Giants, Commanders, and Panthers.
The league ended up flexing the Week 17 contest against Jayden Daniels, and the two rookies put on a show, going into overtime. The NFL is expecting more of the same from Penix.
The team was awarded four primetime games last year because they went out and signed the best free agent quarterback available. Cousins stabilized the position for the first time since Matt Ryan, and the league figured the Falcons would be a playoff-caliber team.
They were right, for about nine games. Then, a total collapse ensued. Fortunately, the Falcons have Michael Penix Jr., and the league is expecting big things from the southpaw in Atlanta.
