Over the last week or so, the Braves have welcomed Max Fried and Kyle Wright back into their rotation. Wright looked much better in his second outing of the season on Sunday, and Fried was spectacular in his first game removed from a hamstring injury last night, tossing five scoreless innings against the Padres.
With Max Fried and Spencer Strider, the Braves might have two of the top five pitchers in the National League. Kyle Wright could make it three of the top ten. Charlie Morton and Bryce Elder are both off to promising starts, while Mike Soroka is also lurking in Gwinnett. Now that this group is finally looking healthy for the first time all season, it’s fair to wonder if there is a better rotation in all of baseball.
On the latest episode of SportsTalkATL, we talk about the return of Fried and Wright, Bryce Elder’s emergence, and more.
