The Falcons experienced their first significant injury yesterday in the form of Rondale Moore suffering a season-ending leg injury. With the receiver room in need of a body, JuJu Smith-Schuster may interest the Falcons.
According to Ian Rapoport, the Patriots are releasing the veteran wideout.

Smith-Schuster joined New England during the 2023 offseason via a three-year, $25.5 million free agent contract. The Pro Bowl receiver never lived up to expectations with the Pats, though. He hauled in just 29 receptions for 260 yards and one score in 11 appearances.
His best seasons came during his time with the Steelers, where he spent the first five seasons of his career from 2017-2021. He burst onto the scene his rookie year with 917 yards and seven touchdowns then put up a career-high 1,426 yards en route to a Pro Bowl the following year.
Ike Hilliard, the Falcons wide receivers coach, spent time in Pittsburgh coaching the Steelers receivers, including Smith-Schuster, from 2020-2021. That could be the connection that the Falcons need to make the free agent signing, which will surely be for the league minimum.
