The Falcons have a lot to clean up and not a lot to be proud of following their loss to the Lions.
Atlanta’s defense did pressure Jared Goff, even if they didn’t convert those into sacks. Jessie Bates III notched his third interception, and Tyler Allgeier had one angry run, which was highlighted on Good Morning Football this week.

Honestly, Allgeier does something like this once a game. Would-be tacklers seem to just bounce off the BYU product. He’s a perfect complement to Bijan Robinson‘s explosive run style.
Though Robinson is a difficult ball carrier to bring down in his own right, Allgeier punishes defenders in a way his counterpart doesn’t. There wasn’t a lot to like from the Week 3 contest, but the Falcons backfield once again provided a few highlights.
This one from Bijan might fly under the radar, but the strength and balance on display here few can match.

The Falcons running back duo only combined for 45 yards on 17 carries while adding another 44 yards through the air on six receptions. I fully expect Tyler Allgeier and Bijan Robinson to get back on track this week in London against the Jaguars defense, which is no slouch when defending the run.
