Last night, the Braves brought their record back to 10 games over .500 with a 3-1 victory over the Giants, but it was Brian Snitker making all of the headlines.
During the fifth inning, Ozzie Albies fouled a ball into his own dugout, where the ball hit Brian in his Snitkers.
"That bounced right into his belly…Oh, no. Not on the belly. Never mind. That's a different kind of belly."
"Belt buckle. Hopefully."

Following the game, Brian Snitker gave a fun “next question” when asked if he was alright, before saying, “I told Ozzie I took his best ball.”
To the actual game, the Braves got another gem from Chris Sale, who now looks like the Cy Young frontrunner in the National League. On the outing, Sale threw six innings of one-run ball with nine punchouts.
Adam Duvall and Austin Riley gave the Braves just enough offense for the win, the former of which had a three-hit day. The Braves are still nine games behind the Phillies in the NL East as the 4th of July series approaches with the series finale against the Giants today.
Happy 4th of July, everyone. Go Braves!
