Vaughn Grissom gets the nod over Orlando Arcia in Game 3. I’ve been in favor of Arcia starting. He’s been the better of the two since he returned from injury, but after going hitless in Games 1 and 2, I don’t mind Snitker switching things up. There’s no doubt that Grissom has the higher offensive upside of the two.
The rest of the lineup remains the same as Game 2. Ozuna once again gets the nod over William Contreras as the designated hitter. Based on their entire body of work, that might seem ridiculous. But Ozuna ended the season on fire, and while he didn’t get a hit in Game 2, he put several high-quality swings on the ball. I don’t mind the decision by Snitker at all.
