Pitts was voted as the top tight end in the NFC in his first season as a professional player after being selected 4th overall in the 2021 NFL draft. The former Florida Gator heads into Week 16 with 58 catches, 847 yards, and one touchdown, which puts him 230 yards short of Mike Ditka‘s long-standing rookie tight end receiving record. Pitts is just scratching the surface of what he can be and is already a Pro Bowler; fans can fully expect him to end his career with a bevy of individual accolades. The other first-time Pro Bowl selection is core special teamer and long snapper Josh Harris. He’s a veteran and has been Atlanta’s long snapper since 2012. Congratulations to both Pitts and Harris on an outstanding season; both deserve recognition.
