Most of the Falcons news has been Raheem Morris filling his staff out.
Zac Robinson and Jimmy Lake will be coordinating the offense and defense, respectively. Most of Arthur Smith’s staff was actually retained — special teams coordinator Marquice Williams, assistant head coach Jerry Gray, senior defensive assistant Dave Huxtable, offensive line coach Dwayne Ledford, running backs coach Michael Pitre, former wide receivers coach and new quarterbacks coach T.J. Yates.
However, it’s not just retaining and new additions. The Falcons’ coaching staff is experiencing attrition for the first time. According to Turron Davenport, Brian Callahan has plucked Steven Jackson and Frank Bush to join his staff in Tennessee and will work under Titans defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson.
The #Titans are adding former Falcons defensive coaches Steven Jackson (DBs) and Frank Bush (LBs) to join defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson.

Bush and Smith are former players. The former was a fifth-round pick of the Oilers in 1985 and spent two years as a linebacker with the team but was also a linebackers coach with the Oilers (1985-86) and had the same role with the Titans (2011-12).
The latter was a third-round pick of the Oilers in 1991 and played defensive back, both in Houston and Tennessee, until 1999, while also serving as defensive backs coach for the Titans (2016-17).
We weren’t made aware of whether Bush and Smith were being retained, but they were still present on the Falcons official website. It’s not yet clear who Raheem Morris will target to replace the pair, but the Falcons coaching staff is rounding into form and is nearing completion. The most significant hires are already complete.
