Atlanta’s 2022 offseason has officially begun. The Falcons fell to their division rival New Orleans Saints on Sunday to mark the conclusion of the first year under the Arthur Smith and Terry Fontenot era. With so many positions that need addressing because of roster turnover, the 2022 Falcons could look much different than the 2021 team.
On Monday, the team announced the signing of every member of the practice squad and a few other players to reserve-futures contracts. Essentially, these deals mean the players are under contract for the offseason activities with a chance to make the final 53-man roster for 2022.
We have signed 17 players to reserve/future contracts. https://t.co/ofhLtZ2yL7
