Reports are coming out that the Falcons are out of the red when it comes to cap space.
Per NFL League source the Falcons have restructured Matt Ryan's contract..

Atlanta has been quiet so far in free agency, but this is massive news. It essentially guarantees the Falcons are committed to Matt Ryan until 2023 when his contract expires. With this news, expect more restructures to follow, giving Terry Fontenot some breathing room to work with in free agency. Grady Jarrett and Deion Jones are the most obvious restructure candidates, and the Falcons also have to make a decision on Dante Fowler Jr. Once those happen, expect Terry Fontenot to make a few additions via free agency.
