With rosters expanding from 26 to 28 players in September, the Braves have called up utility-man Orlando Arcia and right-handed pitcher Jacob Webb to Atlanta:
In accordance with Major League Baseball’s September 1 roster expansion policy, the #Braves today recalled INF Orlando Arcia and RHP Jacob Webb to Atlanta.

Personally, I thought Johan Camargo or Cristian Pache would be called up alongside Kyle Muller, but I understand the rationale here. With Ozzie Albies day-to-day after fouling a ball off of his knee, the Braves probably want someone with some flexibility around the diamond like Arcia.
Johan Camargo has been pretty good in Gwinnett this season, but the team decided to go in another direction, and who can blame them? Camargo’s received plenty of opportunities over the past few years and has failed to capitalize. Arcia only had a .534 OPS over 60 at-bats in his first stint with the Braves after coming over from Milwaukee, but he has an impressive .867 OPS and 17 home runs for the Stripers over 74 games.
Perhaps the Braves want to see if Webb can rekindle some of his 2019-2020 magic; however, this feels more like a placeholder move. Kyle Muller is scheduled to pitch today in Gwinnett, so he won’t be available for about a week. When he is, though, the Braves could opt to roll with him for the rest of the season. Tanner Roark and Kyle Wright are other options that could serve as an extra arm with the expanded rosters.
