Taurean Prince went down late in the fourth quarter of the Hawks loss to the Warriors on Monday night. It appeared serious at the time, and Marc J. Spears has confirmed Prince will miss at least three weeks.
Hawks say forward Taurean Prince has a left ankle injury that includes a ligament sprain, bone bruise and associated soft tissue inflammation. He’ll be re-evaluated in approximately three weeks.

The Hawks are clearly in no hurry to win games. We saw how careful they were bringing John Collins back to begin the season. Prince is likely going to be out at least a month, which will give extended roles to Kevin Huerter and Kent Bazemore, who Lloyd Pierce will now start.
Prince is averaging career highs in points (15.0) and fg% (43.1). He was the Hawks 2016 first-round pick and the #12 overall pick.
