We’re back, baby. After I finished last season on a tear, I could not be more excited for football season to start. This season’s going to be a bit weird, but we’re gonna do our best to give you guys some hot tips each weekend with our College Football gambling locks. Week 1 does not feature a full slate of games, but there are enough matchups to grab the attention of every football junkie across the country.

Jake’s Picks
Clemson -20.5 v Wake Forest (First Half)
I’m usually not a big ACC better, but that’s about all we have this weekend. I don’t have much faith in Wake Forest, and now, they’re short Jamie Newman? They lost to Clemson 52-3 last year with Newman. I think defenses will be quick to gas early in the season, ESPECIALLY in the 2nd half. Hammer Clemson’s point total and maybe even the 2nd half spread.
Louisville -6.5 v Western Kentucky (First Half)
Western Kentucky is a good team, and this will be a sneaky competitive game. WKU went 9-4 and won their bowl game in 2019. Tyson Helton (brother of Clay) made a big splash in his first season, but I’m a believer in Scott Satterfield. Micale Cunningham is an electric QB and even broke the Louisville record for passing efficiency last season. I think it’s enough to give the Cards a touchdown lead at the half.
Notre Dame -20.5 v DukeÂ
Notre Dame is still overrated to me, but Clemson transfer Chase Brice will be starting for Duke. With limited camp action, that could spell trouble. Notre Dame efficiently handled Duke last season 38-7 in Durham. This one’s in South Bend — even with limited capacity — I like Ian Book to shred the Blue Devils.
Chase’s Picks
Clemson -33 at Wake Forest
With Ohio State not playing, Clemson has the best roster in the country, and they will be seeking revenge after losing their first game in two seasons their last time out in the National Championship against LSU. Unfortunately, for the Demon Deacons, they will suffer from the brunt of Clemson’s frustration. The Tigers roll in their first game of the season.
Florida State -12 vs. Georgia Tech
These two teams have been at the cellar of the ACC for a few years now. However, I expect the tide to turn for the Seminoles with Mike Norvell coming over from Memphis. The Noles are at home, with the better coach, the better quarterback, and everything to prove. I like them to make a statement in Week 1.
Notre Dame -20.5 vs. Duke
The Fighting Irish will be competing in the ACC this year, and they should be the only team that could pose a threat to Clemson. Notre Dame has a lot of talent returning and ended last season on a high note, winning their final six games, including a 38-7 thrashing of the Blue Devils. I like them to start the 2020 campaign strong with another statement victory over Duke.
On some of the same stuff here, but full game instead of first half. Hate laying that many points but I’ve got both Clemson and Louisville
