Chase Irle’s Locks
With SEC football back, so are my locks. I finished the week 3-1 and was one point shy of Georgia covering to give me a perfect week. As you might expect, I will stick with my bread and butter and stay in the SEC this week.
South Carolina (+17.5) at Florida
I thought Tennesse would handle South Carolina last week. They covered, but it was an amazing game. Florida is the much better team in this one, but 17.5 seems like a bit too much. The Gators might win by two touchdowns, but that still means the South Carolina ticket cashes.
Boston College (+14.5) vs. UNC
Mack Brown’s done wonders at UNC, but they are a little overvalued here versus a solid Boston College team that will surprise some people this year. Ignore the Eagles’ struggles with Texas State. They can compete with UNC this week.
Alabama (-18) vs. Texas A&M
The Crimson Tide could have easily covered against Mizzou, but they let up and allowed the Tigers to cash. I don’t think that happens this week against a Texas A&M team that might be the most overrated in the country. Tide role by 28.
Mississippi State (-17) vs. Arkansas
Buy all the Mississippi State and Mike Leach stock you can. Arkansas has no chance of stopping this offense. There’s a opportunity for a letdown game, but I’ll lay the 17 points and feel very confident about it.
Season Record (3-7)
Jake Gordon’s Locks
After a nice 3-0 record last week, I’m feeling hot. Forgive me, but I’m going to be echoing a lot of what Chase said. I’m on the record taking Mississippi State, Alabama, & South Carolina. I’ll count them for next week. Here are a few other games I like too.
Auburn – Georgia (First Half u 22.5)
Both teams had a flat first half last week, and both teams have very good defenses. Will JT Daniels start for the Dawgs? Who knows, I will be in attendance for this one, so hopefully, luck is on my side.
Clemson (-17, 1st Half) v Virginia
Clemson spanked Virginia in the 2019 ACC Championship, and this UVA team is nowhere near as talented as last year. I’ll be hammering Clemson’s team total and probably the over as well.
Season Record (5-4)
