Rumors are now swirling that Jalen Ramsey is available in trade talks, and the Rams may be headed for a rebuild just one year after winning the Super Bowl:
The #Rams have had trade talks about six-time Pro Bowl CB Jalen Ramsey and league sources now believe it’s very likely Ramsey is dealt in coming weeks.

The Falcons absolutely have the cap space, picks, and need for Ramsey on their roster to get a deal done. The question is, are they close enough to contending to pull something off like this?
I’m not sure of that answer, and it’s something that would hinge heavily on 2023 free agency. Regardless, if the Falcons want to rebuild their defense, Ramsey is a great starting point. He had another incredible year in 2022-2023, and is still only 28 years old. I’m not sure what his price tag would be, but I think he’s worth the risk for Atlanta if you have a plan in free agency.
The Rams need salary relief and picks, so if the Falcons can take on the last three years of Ramsey’s deal and send back two or three picks that aren’t in the first round (which seems to be the consensus right now), I say you do this deal in a heartbeat. There’s always the chance Ramsey wants a new deal, and the Falcons will have to pay AJ Terrell soon, but something tells me those two guys would love to play across from each other. They’d make each other’s lives a lot easier.
We’ll see if the Falcons get involved. Right now, they aren’t a trendy name in Ramsey trade talks, but they’re absolutely a team that makes a ton of sense for the right price.
