Fontenot is in his 16th season with New Orleans and has spent the last six years as their Director of Pro Scouting, helping the Saints turn into one of the NFC’s juggernauts. On top of his impressive resumé, it would be a plus to steal a cornerstone piece of the Saints front office as well.
The Falcons also have their eyes on Brad Holmes — the College Scouting Director for the Rams — according to Tom Pelissero.
The #Falcons have also requested a GM interview with #Rams college scouting director Brad Holmes, per source. Along with Rick Smith, these were top names expected to be in the mix in Atlanta. https://t.co/6pETUkEi72

Holmes has been with the Rams for the last 18 years, helping them acquire talents such as Jared Goff, Aaron Donald, and Todd Gurley through the draft. He’s also very familiar with Atlanta, as he’s spent many years scouting in the southeast.
We’ll keep you updated with any information as the Falcons search for a new head coach and general manager is well underway.
