The Falcons and Saints will be without critical pieces to both of their offensive lines.
Both clubs’ centers were placed on the injured reserve earlier in the week; Drew Dalman is nursing an ankle injury, while Erik McCoy, a Pro Bowler, is dealing with a groin injury. Both will also be without other starters along the front.
Kaleb McGary and Cesar Ruiz were ruled out on Friday, but that’s not all. The Saints’ heart and soul, Demario Davis, will miss the first game of his career due to injury. There’s another marquee name to watch for too.
Chris Olave was added to the injury report on Friday after tweaking his hamstring. According to Adam Schefter, the Saints star wideout is considered day-to-day.
Saints WR Chris Olave is considered, in the words of a source, “day to day” with the hamstring injury he suffered in today’s practice. https://t.co/bV94SrCTwJ

Soft tissue injuries are very tricky, and for a player whose position is explosive by nature, Olave’s chances of being 100% on Sunday are slim. I’m not sure what the chances of him playing are, but if he’s unable to go, this quickly turns into a must-win situation for the Falcons.
The Saints being without three of their top players — Demario Davis, Chris Olave, and Erik McCoy — would be an inexcusable loss for Raheem Morris at home. If they lose that and have to win in New Orleans at the Superdome… that’s not an ideal situation.
