In a bit of news that shouldn’t come as a surprise to anybody, Julio Jones joins a long list of Falcons players that were very upset when Dan Quinn was fired after an 0-5 start to the 2020 NFL Season.
There it is. I didn’t want to speculate, but c’mon, is this a shocker for anyone? pic.twitter.com/YuhyTCltlW

I don’t blame the players for being upset that their coach, and friend, Dan Quinn was fired. However, the fans most certainly were not. I’ve said on the record before that Dan Quinn is a good man, but the NFL isn’t about how good of a person you are. After embarrassing losses to Chicago and Dallas following two extremely disappointing seasons, it was time for Dan Quinn (along with Thomas Dimitroff) to go. The players have the right to be upset, but moving on from Quinn was long overdue. This team wasn’t going to win anything with the past regime, and even with Jones in Nashville, I have more faith in the Falcons now more than ever.
