It seems as if Ender Inciarte has not recovered as quickly as the Braves have hoped. According to Mark Bowman of mlb.com. he is still feeling discomfort in his hamstring:
After running and testing his hamstring this afternoon, Inciarte indicated he’s still feeling discomfort.

Inciarte was expected back today, assuming he was feeling good to go upon testing the hamstring. Evidently that was not the case.
The good news is that the Braves have until Thursday before the playoffs begin. The bad news is that hamstring injuries tend to linger, and he would be coming in to a playoff atmosphere without an opportunity to get his feet wet during the last series of the regular season.
We will hope to get a positive update on Ender within the next week.
UPDATE: Inciarte out for NLDS
Inciarte (hamstring) will be shut down for now and is out at least for division series, #Braves’ Snitker said.

Per David O’ Brien of The Athletic, Inciarte has been shut down for the NLDS. Brian Snitker shed some light on the gameplan for Inciarte going forward:
#Braves' Snitker on Inciarte's still-sore hammy: "Not good. All the work he’s put in and the time that we’ve taken, it’s just not gonna happen. We’re just going to shut him down and give him some time, and then try to ramp him up again.”
