According to Jeff Schultz of The Athletic, the Falcons have continued to hold trade talks with teams interested in moving up to the fourth pick, but they haven’t received an offer to their liking.
The Falcons continue to hold trade talks with teams interested in trading up for the fourth overall pick but have not yet received an offer to their liking, sources tell @TheAthletic. Moving down in the draft would allow the team to accumulate more assets.

Over a month ago, in a blockbuster trade, the Dolphins traded the third overall pick to the 49ers in exchange for the 12th overall pick in this year’s draft, two future first-round picks, and a future third-round pick. The Dolphins did end up trading one of those first-rounders to the Eagles to jump back into the top ten.
Going off the San Francisco deal, trading up will cost considerable draft capital — at least two future first-round picks. Adam Schefter reported around the time the deal came to light that John Lynch had discussed trading up to the Falcons’ fourth pick but would ultimately decide to go as high as he could. For a first-year regime, it would’ve been an incredible opportunity to start the groundwork of their ideal team with two extra first-round picks.
I would expect teams like the Denver, New England, and Washington to inquire about the fourth pick, but I can’t be certain. If that is the case, Terry Fontenot would be wise to let each franchise bid against one another until an offer blows him away, and I’m certain that’s exactly what he’s doing.
