This news isn’t much of a shocker, but it seems that trade rumors are starting to heat up only ten days out of the 2021 NFL Draft.
This is something. https://t.co/6FjEYpsrKk

The report states that Denver loves Justin Fields and Trey Lance, and they’re willing to move up to get one of them. A lot of this hinges on what the 49ers do with the third pick. If John Lynch chooses Mac Jones, that would mean either Trey Lance or Justin Fields will make it past the fourth pick, and a team might not be as motivated to make a trade with the Falcons. On the other hand, a team might feel as if Lynch opened the door for them by selecting Jones, causing an all-out sprint to trade up to the fourth pick to have their choice of Lance or Fields — an all-out bidding war. I don’t expect the Falcons to make a move before they’re on the clock, simply because they are likely to get multiple offers on draft night. Besides, they may be set on Lance or Fields as well.
As I’ve said before, I’m a fan of trading back, but there’s no denying the talent on the board at quarterback. I genuinely have no idea what the Falcons will do, but they’re going to hold the keys to the draft if San Francisco has their mind made up with the third pick.
