We are less than two hours away from the MLB trade deadline, and the Braves just completed their first two moves, acquiring Eddie Rosario from the Twins and Adam Duvall from the Marlins, but they aren’t done yet. Atlanta is still in the market for bullpen arms, and according to Mark Bowman, they have their eyes on one of the best in the business, Craig Kimbrel.
The Braves have talked to the Cubs about Kimbrel. They've strengthened their outfield with Duvall and bolstered their bench with Rosario, who should be healthy w/in the next couple weeks. Adding Kimbrel, Iglesias or another high-leverage reliever could still happen.

After a couple of shaky seasons, Kimbrel is putting together one of the best seasons ever for a reliever, posting a 0.49 ERA and 0.709 WHIP with 23 saves over 36.2 innings for the Cubs. With Chicago in full rebuild mode, expect them to deal him before 4 PM ET. The Braves are far from the only team interested, but I would expect them to add at least one high-quality reliever before the deadline.
