Not to scare you all, but we heard the exact same reports that “expectation in the industry” was that Josh Donaldson would return to Atlanta last year about a week before he signed with the Twins. Even though that move worked out, with Trevor Bauer either signing with the Mets or the Dodgers — Atlanta has to keep some firepower behind Freddie Freeman if they want to remain competitive.
