In what was supposed to be a week of fun at the Pro Bowl, Caleb Johnson and Mike Conti of 92.9 The Game have provided us some news that makes me a little queasy.
Austin Hooper spoke to 92.9 The Game's @ATLjohnson18 at the Pro Bowl in Orlando today:
"If the organization wants me, they'll offer me. I still haven't received an offer from them… As of now, I'm enjoying what could be my last game as a Falcon at the Pro Bowl."

It’s puzzling to me that the Falcons have had conversations with De’Vondre Campbell’s agent but have yet to offer Hooper anything. Austin is at the Pro Bowl for a reason: he’s an elite, young player at a position where not many exist. It would be inexcusable for Atlanta to let him walk. It’s a fireable offense on its own for a General Manager that probably should already be out the door. Hopefully, by Austin’s comments, he means that there have been some conversations but no official offer YET. If Atlanta lets him walk, it’s going to be even harder to support the front office. With that being said, there is still plenty of time for talks to get going.
