Dylan Lee 2023 Stat Predictions
The life of a reliever isn’t easy. Dylan Lee was spectacular for the Braves in 2022, breaking out and posting a 2.13 ERA. He held opponents to a batting average just north of .200 and struck out 10.5 batters per nine innings. By all metrics, he was elite, yet I’m not even sure it’s a guarantee he begins the season on the Opening Day roster.
The Braves bullpen is incredibly deep, and Lee still has options remaining, so there’s a world where I could see the team stashing him Gwinnett in favor of some other arms. However, I still believe that’s unlikely. Lee proved last season he belongs at the major-league level, and the Braves should be focused on winning every game from day one. I think Lee will earn his spot during Spring Training and establish himself in a permanent role in the bullpen, much like last year. Although, it will be very difficult for him to replicate the numbers he put up in 2022.
Dylan Lee 2023 Stat Predictions: 3-3, 3.44 ERA, 3.30 FIP, 11.0 K/9, 0.4 fWAR
