Every fan base outside of the Yankees and Dodgers is anxiously waiting for the Hot Stove to get cooking, with Braves Country’s attention already on the 2025 campaign.
Alex Anthopoulos doesn’t have a lot of wiggle room on the surface. Most of the Braves lineup is locked into long-term deals, but if we dig a little deeper, there’s a lot of room for improvement.
Anthopoulos can upgrade the rotation, bullpen, outfield, and shortstop where he sees fit. However, there are some obstacles to overcome to address each of those areas.
It’ll be difficult to find an upgrade over Orlando Arcia. Not because he’s so great, but because the options are limited. The outfield could be a blank canvas, but Ronald Acuna Jr.’s timeline and ability will dictate much of what AA can do. The rotation and bullpen won’t be as challenging, though.
There are many different ways the Braves can go, and free agency will be upon us before we know it. So, here are some Braves free agent targets and their respective contract projections from Spotrac.
