The Falcons are in the swing of things at training camp, but Terry Fontenot continues to churn the roster with the recent acquisitions of James Washington and Jesse Matthews.

A couple of former Falcons have also found new homes as training camp continues around the league. Former Atlanta cornerback, Fabian Moreau inked a deal to join the Vikings, according to NFL Network. And Anthony Firkser has signed with the Jets, per Adam Schefter.

Moreau spent the 2021 season with the Falcons, starting every single game across from A.J. Terrell, totaling 61 tackles, 11 passes defended and three tackles for loss.

After letting Moreau walk in free agency, the former Commanders’ third-round pick signed with the Texans but was released before the start of the regular season prior to landing with the Giants, where he started 11 games.

The journeyman then caught on with the Broncos late in the summer next season and once again started 11 games. Now, he joins the Vikings late in hopes of securing a starting gig again.

As for Firkser, the tight end was a perfect fit for Arthur Smith’s offense, appearing in 11 games for the Falcons in 2022. Though he didn’t return in 2023, he’s now in New York attempting to carve out a supplementary role with the Jets.
