Last week, I blew it. I recommended Geoff Swaim due to Nick Foles’ historic gravitation towards tight ends, and a great matchup. Foles hurt his shoulder, and Swaim only picked up 5.3 points. Hot start for me!
But the entire point of this series is to try to find that dart throw value pick that can compound the ability to stack the rest of your lineup. In my experience, that is how I have found success with DFS.
This week I actually have a couple of value picks for you, and I promise they will be better. Not too long ago, they were actually in the same wide receiver room.
The dart pick throw of the two is Travis Benjamin of the LA Chargers. With Hunter Henry set to miss time again and Mike Williams’ status for this week up in the air, he could be in for a workload which could make him a huge value at $3200. Benjamin will be third in line in targets behind Keenan Allen and Austin Ekeler if MikeWill does not play, and he has big-game potential as he is used to stretch the field.
But his former teammate Tyrell Williams is probably the better value despite the higher price tag. At $4,400, DraftKings has not caught up to Tyrell becoming Oakland’s number one option, as I think he is more talented than Darren Waller. He may not be the optimal number 1 but Williams can play. He is coming off a huge Week 1 and get a nice matchup against the Chiefs. The Raiders should be down early and have to execute a full-on air raid. Lock in Tyrell Williams!
