The Falcons are primed to bring in another large draft class in April.
Terry Fontenot brought in nine prospects in 2021, eight in 2022, and six last year. The team’s GM will once again be armed with the 8th overall pick, along with the full allotment of other picks.
They also have an extra third-rounder from the Calvin Ridley trade that could turn into a second-round pick if the two sides agree to a contract extension before the new league year.
In total, the Falcons have seven total draft picks, including four in the top 100, which only two clubs have more than in the 2024 cycle.

Here’s the full list of Falcons draft picks:
- Round 1, Pick 8
- Round 2, Pick 43
- Round 3, Pick 74
- Round 3, Pick 79 (from JAX)*
- Round 4, Pick 109
- Round 5, Pick 141
- Round 6, Pick 198 (via CLE)
Bijan Robinson, Matthew Bergeron, and Zach Harrison were top 100 picks from last year’s rookie class. Drake London, Arnold Ebiketie, Troy Andersen, Desmond Ridder, and DeAngelo Malone were all taken in the first 100 selections in 2022. Kyle Pitts, Richie Grant, and Jalen Mayfield were top 100 picks in Fontenot’s first draft.
There are varying results when selecting in the first 100 picks, but that’s where teams have the best chance of finding starting-caliber talent, so the more shots Atlanta’s GM has, the more likely the Falcons are to come away with another solid draft class as Raheem Morris takes over the team.
