The Falcons made their second trade prior to the deadline today, acquiring defensive lineman Kentavius Street from the Eagles. Atlanta probably needed defensive line depth regardless, but the move became even more necessary after it was announced that Grady Jarrett would miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL.
However, it’s going to take a lot more than that to replace the loss of Jarrett, and the Falcons don’t appear to be done before tomorrow’s 4:00 PM ET trade deadline. According to Cameron Wolfe of the NFL Network, Terry Fontenot and company continue to make calls in attempt to acquire a pass rusher.
Grady Jarrett tearing his ACL was a big loss, and Kentavius Street addition should help their DT depth. Falcons still have been sniffing around for more pass rush upgrades ahead of trade deadline. https://t.co/lwsoJdaVhu

It was reported prior to the Falcons contest with the Titans that the Falcons have an offer on the table that would send a third-round pick to the Commanders for Montez Sweat, who is likely to be dealt at some point before the trade deadline.
We’ll see if that move ends up coming to fruition, but don’t be surprised if Terry Fontenot still has a move or two up his sleeve to bolster the Falcons defensive line before tomorrow at 4:00 PM ET.
