As is natural with teams coming off of championships, the Braves are facing a lot of turnover when it comes to their roster. When you look at a team like Atlanta that made a miraculous run with a lot of unsung heroes filling in for injured stars, that turnover gets even stronger. While key contributors like Eddie Rosario, Freddie Freeman, Joc Pederson, and Jorge Soler are still on the market — the Braves have already lost a few notable names after the lockout was lifted:

Adrianza had some super clutch moments for the Braves during the regular season, and Chavez was a key piece to the bullpen. There were rumors Chavez was going to retire after the World Series, but he’s going to give it one more go in 2022.
Also joining Chavez on the Cubs is fellow reliever Chris Martin.

Martin had a fantastic shortened 2020 campaign with the Braves, posting a 1.00 ERA. However, he fell out of favor after a rocky 2021, which always made it unlikely he would be retained. The stuff is still there for Martin, so perhaps a change of scenery will do him wonders.
