The Braves have had mixed performances out of their prospect arms in 2022, but after being sent back to Gwinnett, Kyle Muller has answered the call and looked fantastic:
As the summer weather heats up, so are these 30 arms.

It’s not a shock to see Muller on this list. Here’s what MLB.com had to say:
Braves: Kyle Muller, LHP (No. 3)
Someone sure looks like they’re ready for another chance to help the big league staff out. Over his last five starts — spanning 32 innings — the big lefty had a 2.25 ERA and 0.88 WHIP, as he allowed just 20 hits and eight walks while striking out 38. He really doesn’t have much left to prove in Triple-A with a 2.99 ERA, .216 BAA and 102/26 K/BB ratio over 14 starts this season. He leads the International League in strikeouts and stands second in ERA and WHIP (1.09) and third in BAA.
Muller was also named the International League Pitcher of the Month for June.
#Braves LHP prospect Kyle Muller was named International League pitcher of the month for June.
He went 2-1 with a 1.87 ERA (7 ER in 33.2 IP), 0.77 WHIP, .171 BAA, and 43 strikeouts in 5 GS. He topped the league in ERA, strikeouts, innings, and BAA for the month.

If Muller can continue to control his walks, he’ll absolutely be back in Atlanta sooner rather than later, especially if Ian Anderson doesn’t turn things around.
