Matt Ryan’s MRIs revealed he only suffered a sprained ankle on Sunday against the Rams. Dan Quinn said at his press conference today that his QB is not yet ruled out for Sunday’s game versus the Seahawks.

The team will be preparing for a game with or without their star QB, and Matt Schaub will be taking first-team reps in practice while Ryan rehabs. Normally, this would activate panic mode for the Falcons, but with the team floundering at 1-6, there is no reason to rush Ryan back into action. However, if we’ve learned anything from the Falcons QB, he’s an ultra competitor. Despite the dreadful start, Ryan is going to want to finish it out until the end. It’s no surprise he’s back to work, attempting to be ready for Sunday’s home matchup with the Seahawks
