Veteran quarterback Matt Ryan and the Falcons have agreed to terms on a five-year extension, according to Chris Mortenson.

Throughout his ten years in Atlanta, Ryan has thrown for 41,796 yards, the most in franchise history. On top of that, he has led the Falcons to 85 wins, has four Pro Bowl appearances, and won the NFL MVP award in 2016.
