While the owners and players continue to go back and forth regarding how the money will be allocated for the 2020 season, the MLB Draft is around the corner. Because of the coronavirus, it will be a much shorter process (only five rounds), taking place over two days, starting on Wednesday, June 10th, at 7:00 PM ET, covering just the first round. Rounds 2-5 will be on Thursday, beginning at 5:00 PM ET. There will be TV coverage on both The MLB Network and ESPN.Â
The Braves only have four picks in these five rounds because they lost two picks when they signed Will Smith and Marcell Ozuna. However, they received a selection when the Twins signed Josh Donaldson. Here is where they will be picking on Wednesday and Thursday:Â
- Round 1, Pick 25
- Round 3, Pick 97
- Round 4, Pick 126
- Round 5, Pick 156
