In a bit of good news for Kirby Smart and his staff, their second leading receiver Ladd McConkey will be returning for another year in Athens in search of a three-peat:

McConkey had the second most catches (58) and yards (762) for the Dawgs behind Brock Bowers, and tied Bowers for the team lead in receiving touchdowns (7). McConkey is often used as Todd Monken’s gadget player, as he also rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, good for 19.1 yards per attempt. McConkey was hobbled going into the playoffs, but he had a massive two-point conversion against Ohio State, and hauled in five passes for 88 yards and two touchdowns against TCU. He also chipped in a 19 yard rush against the Horned Frogs.
McConkey is a huge part of Georgia’s offense. He’s only improving, and he could really establish himself as an NFL prospect with another big year in Athens.
