A very important Falcons player is already dealing with an injury before the club’s season opener. Raheem Morris told reporters that Kyle Pitts is dealing with a hamstring injury, but Atlanta’s head coach did say that he wasn’t worried about it.
If Falcons fans needed more convincing, Pitts himself said that he doesn’t have any concerns about playing this week and that his limitations in practice today will amount to missing one or two plays.

It certainly sounds like there’s nothing to worry about, but that’s just not the case. If it wasn’t anything, Raheem Morris wouldn’t have said anything. That doesn’t mean it’s going to be a massive deal either, though.
My biggest concern has nothing to do with his ability in Week 1. I am worried about the Falcons star tight end dealing with a nagging hamstring injury this entire season, which will once again hamper his production.
I will take Raheem Morris and Pitts at their word, but I am still skeptical that it’s as little of a deal as they’re making the Kyle Pitts injury
