Kirby Smart had a lot to say about the upcoming matchup with Florida, and as always, he was asked about the possibility of moving the game out of Jacksonville. Coach Smart also had plenty to say about his players and preparing for an always tough Cocktail Party. Before that, we heard from some of Georgia’s impact players. On3 & @DawgsHQ provided the coverage. First up was safety Christopher Smith:
On Kirby Smart's mentality and intensity:
"He's very passionate about us and the team, and it rubs off on us."

Next, Big O took the podium, and Darnell Washington had plenty to say about the tight end position:
On facing tight ends like Florida's Kyle Pitts and Georgia's Brock Bowers, Darnell Washington:
"I just feel like in the last few years, tight ends have become some of the best athletes on the field."

Of course, the game being played in Jacksonville was brought up:
On the large spread for this Saturday's game:
"We know the kind of game it's going to be whenever we play Florida… It's always a tough game whenever we have to play those guys, and we need to be prepared."

Coach Smart then took the podium to give some injury updates:
On the effect of not having Jalen Carter on the defensive line:
"He's a really good football player… He's not been healthy since the first play of the season."
Says that Carter's injury affects the Bulldogs' depth along the line.

Coach Smart, of course, also spoke highly of his opponents:
Smart called former Bulldog and current Gator Brenton Cox "probably one of the most violent guys we've played". Complimented the players all along Florida's defensive line.

Georgia and Florida is one of the great rivalries in the sport. However, with Tennessee looming on November 5th, Kirby is going to have to keep his guys focused in a big time lookahead spot.
