The Falcons released some fantastic news today: Kaleb McGary is a full participant in practice with no limitations.

Last week, McGary was active in walk-throughs, but from the way Dan Quinn talked about it, it sounded like it would be at least a couple of weeks before he was back to full-speed. It looks like he is recovering much quicker than expected.
Once again, McGary’s heart procedure was never life-threatening and will not be in the future. However, there is the potential of it returning. The doctors will not know if the procedure was a success until he tests it consistently at full-speed, and it does not return.
The Falcons desperately need the second of their first-round picks to start looking the part. Ty Sambrailo has been a potato in the preseason and is very close to losing his job to UDFA Matt Gono. That’s not what Arthur Blank was thinking when he told Thomas Dimitroff to find Matt Ryan some protection.
