Jeff Passan of ESPN reported today that Josh Donaldson has won his appeal and will not be forced to serve a one-game suspension following a benches-clearing incident involving Pirates starter, Joe Musgrove.
Atlanta Braves third baseman Josh Donaldson won his appeal and will not be suspended after a benches-clearing incident with Pittsburgh, a source tells ESPN. Donaldson originally was suspended for one game. His fine for the incident was also reduced to $1,000.

Both players were ejected from the game, but only Donaldson was handed a suspension – one he will not be forced to serve. His fine was also cut down to $1,000. The Bringer of Rain has 1.326 OPS and six home runs in his last ten games.
