Jorge Soler returns to Braves lineup against Nationals

MLB: AUG 11 Braves at Rockies

Despite the injuries piling up, the Braves have played some really good baseball of late, coming off their third consecutive series win last night, which was an ultra-important one against the NL East leading Philadelphia Phillies. Tonight, the Braves begin a three-game set with the Washington Nationals, a very winnable series which will feature Jorge Soler, who is back in the lineup for the first time in over a week.

The lineup is still far from Murderer’s Row, but Jorge Soler has played some fantastic baseball since being acquired just ahead of the trade deadline from the San Francisco Giants. It gives the Braves another guy most known for changing games with one swing, and with Chris Sale on the bump to kick off the weekend, one swing may be all the Braves need to come away with a much-needed victory.
