Collins, who was the 19th overall pick in last year’s draft, averaged 10.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.1 blocks a game. His two-way potential is what sets him apart from other rookies in this draft class.
It is scary to think Collins finished 11th in scoring, 3rd in rebounds, second in field-goal percentage, and second in blocks among rookies yet he only started in 26 games. There is very little doubt that Collins has an extremely bright future, and his spot on an All-Rookie team speaks to his potential.
