The Hawks have made their first notable signing after the Dejounte Murray trade, and it’s one that I’m a fan of; Atlanta inked Aaron Holiday to a one-year deal today.

I talked about Holiday in my backcourt free agents target list. Here’s what I had to say:
G Aaron Holiday — Phoenix Suns (Unrestricted)
Holiday is a similar player to Delon Wright. He thrives on the defensive end of the floor and knocked down 38% of his threes last year — a very interesting buy-low candidate.
The move is essentially replacing Delon Wright. Holiday didn’t play a ton last year, but he was a solid role player when he was active. He isn’t going to cost an arm and a leg, and much like his brother Jrue, he’s a pest defensively. If Holiday can give the Hawks 10-18 solid minutes behind Trae Young per night, it will be a huge win.
