De’Andre Hunter has officially been reported as active for tonight’s game against the Washington Wizards.

Hunter was a game-time decision, but it looks like he finally feels comfortable playing at full speed on the knee. Obviously, he will play this game and probably the next three with a minutes restriction.
Coming off the bench, even for a short amount of time, is critical as Hunter is an important piece to this team on both ends of the court. Bogdan Bogdanovic recently said the second-year wing was the best player at the start of the season. In his first 18 games, Hunter averaged 17.2 points on .514/.366/.877 shooting in 32.2 minutes per game. He needs time to get reacclimated to the pace of play, so he will likely slowly build up his minutes in the remaining games of the regular season.
