After Clint Capela and Rajon Rondo’s debuts helped propel Atlanta to 3-0, the Hawks continue to get healthier:
Hawks announce Onyeka Okongwu (inflammation, sesamoid bone, left foot) and guard Tony Snell (inflammation, cuboid bone, right foot) have both been
cleared to progress to live contact workouts. Their statuses will be updated as appropriate.— Chris Kirschner (@ChrisKirschner) December 29, 2020
I’m extremely excited to get a look at Okongwu — he was one of my favorite players out of the draft. His foot was a known issue before the draft, so hopefully he gets a timetable soon. Snell will provide some valuable defense and shooting off of the bench. Check out more in depth profiles on both of these guys here.
We’ll keep you posted with any other injury news.
